Barcelona reached 10,000 goals and it turns out Messi accounts for a lot
In the wildest stat you will likely see all week, Lionel Messi has scored 4.39 percent of Barcelona's goals ever. Yes, ever.
On Wednesday, Messi scored his 300th and 301st La Liga goals, with the latter also being Barcelona's 10,000th strike. The Argentine now has 439 goals for the club, excluding friendlies.
Per The Daily Mail, who did the math, Messi has scored 4.39 percent of the goals in Barca's 117-year history. And since 1899, nearly one of every 20 goals belongs to the star attacker.
