Bobby Brown took to Twitter to thank his fans for their concern and to clear up any speculation as to why he canceled his latest concert:
"My Gastroenterologist has made the decision to keep me resting for another week, he wrote. "I recently had surgery and the recovery time has taken longer than expected."

Bobby canceled a show in South Carolina Friday, the day the autopsy report for his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was released on what would have been her 23rd birthday.
His only child with the late Whitney Houston died last July at age 22 after being in a coma for several months. She was found unconscious in a bathtub—the same way her mother was found before she was pronounced dead at age 48 in 2012. Theautopsy report showed Bobbi Kristina suffered brain damage and died of pneumonia caused by drug intoxication and water immersion.
Bobby, 47, was supposed to perform at Charleston Jam Fest at the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center Friday. A rep for the venue told E! News Bobby canceled his appearance.
The event also featured Keith Sweat, Jagged Edge and 112. Bobby is scheduled to perform with the former two and H-Town in Tampa, FL in April.
